407 Perkins Coordinator of CTE
Position Title:            Perkins Coordinator of CTE
Salary Range:             $16.32-$21.44/hr.
Contract Length:      12 Months
Supervisor:                 Principal of CTE
Basic Function:
The CTE Coordinator performs secretarial and coordination services for the the CTE and Adult Education Department. The CTE Coordinator is also responsible for thoroughly collecting, organizing and reporting all data necessary to ensure the accuracy of dual credit eligibility, registration, and End of Course Assessments (ECA).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    1. Provide all secretarial services for the CTE and Adult Education Department.
  1. Be accountable for data and preparation needed to record and process payroll for the Adult Ed Staff, selected CTE Staff, and School Age Mothers staff.
  2. Maintain all filing of all department data.
  3. Answer, screen and route telephone calls from the public and staff.
  4. Manage the reporting of data necessary for all career and technical education students for biannual state INTERS reporting.
  5. Coordinate the organization and implementation of CTE special projects.
  6. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  7. Purchasing and managing all financial transactions in accordance with the Carl D. Perkins 2006 Grant and other funds.
  1. Bachelor’s Degree required.
  2. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  3. Must possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  4. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of self-direction to achieve stated goals.
  5. Ability to work effectively and cooperate with students, faculty/staff, administration and general public using tact and diplomacy.
  6. Perform in keeping with the philosophy and goals of the school corporation and the CTE program.
  7. Possess knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Professional Software, organizational, communication and time management skills.
Physical Demands:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other technologies and office equipment, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time; kneeling; bending at the waist; lifting; pushing; pulling and carrying equipment, supplies and materials weighing up to 25 pounds; repetitive hand movement and fine coordination to use a computer keyboard; emotional stability to work effectively under pressure and to keep all aspects of the job under control; hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or on the telephone; seeing to read; prepare and assure the accuracy of documents.
