Position Title:                            Site Digital Integration Specialist

Salary Range:                             Teacher Contract Salary

 Immediate Supervisor:         Director of Digital Integration

Basic Function:

The Site Digital Integration Specialist’s role is to provide leadership at the school level in the planning, implementation and support of instructional technologies to improve the delivery and service quality of innovative education solutions. Assist and support colleagues in the implementation of curriculum, and instruction at the building level by sharing proven instructional technology techniques and materials. Working closely with the centralized information technology and curriculum organizations, this position will participate in developing and coordinating significant corporation-wide instructional technology initiatives. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all teachers and staff members at the site are provided an opportunity for professional development geared toward classroom effectiveness and student success.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Organize early adopter and proof of concept teams
  2. Participate in early adopter and proof of concept teams
  3. Lead implementations and rollouts of new instructional technologies at the school site
  4. Lead the professional development/technical training for staff, teachers and students
  5. Represent site in development of overall curriculum content for the school corporation
  6. Provide site support for upgrades to newer versions and releases of technologies
  7. Act as liaison and coordinator for site technology projects
  8. Represent the site in one to one targets and implementations
  9. Liaise with central IT for troubleshooting issues
  10. Participate in cross-site feedback teams in combination with centralized IT engineering and applications support
  11. Act in an eLearning capacity to ensure site is prepared for electronic learning and remote access to classroom content
  12. Co-teach with site teachers to model and collaborating in innovative teaching practices incorporating technology
  13. Collaborate with site teachers in planning for a technology integrated lesson
  14. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Digital Integration


  1. Bachelor's Degree Required.  Teaching experience with prior demonstration of project leadership
  2. Teaching experience to be able to relate to the staff
  3. Identified by principal(s) as an early adopter of technology
  4. Demonstrated ability to apply information technology in support of education requirements
  5. Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
  6. Google Level 1 or Level 2 Teacher Certification preferred .
