On-Call Cafeteria Substitutes
POSITION TITLE: On-Call Substitutes - Food & Nutrition
SALARY RANGE: $11.00/hour
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Kitchen Manager
DUTIES: Fill available positions as designated by manager. Assist with daily food preparation and meal service. Perform general clean up duties. Maintain standards of sanitation and personal hygiene.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to multi task, work rapidly and efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers, school personnel, and students. Sound knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures. Cashier experience preferred. Must be flexible to assume different assignments. Ability to follow direction. Successful on-call substitutes may be considered for part time and full time employment in the Food & Service Department when openings are available.
A PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds. Stamina to stand and walk on hard flooring for long periods of time. Ability to withstand a wide range of temperatures. Manual dexterity pan to pan frozen items, chop, assemble and mix foods. Ability to work with chemical cleaning agents.
Works in standard office and school building environments. Must be able to work regularly scheduled hours. Must be able to handle stress.
